Tesseract-Medical Imaging (Tesseract-MI)

Tesseract-Medical Imaging (Tesseract-MI) is an open-source, web-based platform which enables deployment of AI models while simultaneously providing standard image viewing and reporting schemes. The goal of Tesseract-MI is to augment 3D medical imaging and provide a 4th dimension (AI) when requested by a user. As a case study, we demonstrate the utility of our platform and present ProstateCancer.ai, a web application for identification of clinically significant prostate cancer in MRI.

SimITK/SimVTK

SimITK/SimVTK environment is developed for image analysis, visualization, and image-guided surgery.SimITK/VTK is an implementation of the ITK and VTK C++ libraries in MATLAB, specifically the Simulink visual programming environment.The advantage to this visual programming approach, compared to scripting or C++ applications, are short development times and high maintailabilty due to the existence of pre-built SimITK/VTK models.SimITK/VTK also generates the Simulink blocks directly from the library source files via custom-written automated processes specifically tailored to each library. This ensures that the final blocks parallel their written-code equivalents.The main interest of this project is image-guided therapy. To support this, SimVTK blocks are available for surgical tracking devices and ultrasound video acquisition.

 

Protein-interaction-network-based pathway analysis (PINBPA)

Protein-interaction-network-based pathway analysis (PINBPA) for genome-wide association studies (GWAS) was proposed in 2009. Now we release the Cytoscape app PINBPA, as a novel tool to analyze GWAS data in a network fashion.

integrated Complex Traits Network (iCTNet)

Integrated Complex Traits Network (iCTNet) is a large-scale network, assembling human disease-gene association, tissue-  gene association, disease-tissue associations, protein-DNA interactions, protein-protein interactions and drug-target  information.This network provides a new and comprehensive perspective for human genetic diseases.iCTNet works as a  plugin for Cytoscape and can be extended and combined using other Cytoscape plugins.
